Brett Berwager is a photographer based in Nashville, Tennessee, where there are sadly no waves to catch, but plenty of moments and stories. He takes pride in the craft of capturing them, bringing an artistic eye for detail and an intuitive sense of timing to his photography.

Brett's professional approach is coupled with his easygoing, relaxed, and fun personality, which makes him the kind of photographer clients want to work with. He holds his work up to an impeccably high standard, believing in quality over quantity, creative over cliche.

Raised on a small farm in rural Pennsylvania, Brett was inspired by the beauty of his surroundings and by the people who tended to land and family. After studying photography, he went on to become a photojournalist and captured the incredible highs and poignant lows of small-town life. His work with The Evening Sun newspaper was featured statewide and nationally, and earned him a Pennsylvania Associated Press Media Editors award.

Since moving to Nashville in 2012, Brett has found new inspiration in the city and new stories to tell in its people.

When he's not behind a camera, Brett is typically behind a guitar, writing songs and playing music around Nashville. Or he's watching a surf cam and lamenting his land-locked state.
